Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we're committed to creating a safer, more sustainable, and connected world. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily breakdowns and services in our Wire and Cable and Materials facilities.
  • Respond to unscheduled equipment issues and coordinate activities to resolve them.
  • Lead and develop our Technician Team to achieve objectives and maintain high service standards.
  • Support, coach, and mentor Apprentices to gain experience for their courses.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the Maintenance function.
  • Travel between facilities as needed to prioritize tasks.
  • Attend and present at Tier 3 meetings to collaborate with Production Teams on priorities.
  • Address Health and Safety concerns raised by Production Teams.
  • Introduce a Continuous Improvement culture aligned with our TEOA program.
  • Investigate repeat failures and determine preventative actions.
  • Interface between Maintenance, Facilities, Process, and Projects Departments.
  • Monitor, review, and respond to Key Performance Indicators.
  • Deputize for the Maintenance Manager as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Proven people management experience, covering 5 years.
  • Experience working in various Production environments.
  • Experience with Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC Controls and Motor Drives is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to switch between different machines and areas requiring different disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Office Applications and experience with a CMMS package.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to produce and present a project justification.
  • Demonstrate a 'lead by example' approach within the Maintenance Team.
