Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Early Years Support Assistant to join our team, working lunch hours, Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to children aged 0-5 years, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities, games, and educational programs to stimulate children's learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support for children.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children, adhering to nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Passion for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures.
