Safeguarding Adults Social Worker Role

iPeople Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to join our client based in North Somerset.

The successful candidate will work under the title of 'Safeguarding Adults Officer' undertaking safeguarding-related tasks, including addressing a backlog of safeguarding adults cases.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing safeguarding plans;
  • Providing support to individuals at risk of abuse or neglect;
  • Collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes;
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records;
  • Participating in training and development opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in adult social care, preferably in safeguarding;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A deep understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and guidance;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Salary and Benefits
