Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at the AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by cleaning and sterilizing countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks.
  • Pre-Shift Preparation: Ensure the kitchen is ready for service by cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed.
  • Food Storage and Handling: Maintain the food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators, to ensure the quality and safety of our food products.
  • Receiving and Organizing Deliveries: Receive and organize deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Dishwashing and Kitchen Utensil Cleaning: Wash and clean dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, cutting boards, and pans, or load them into the dishwasher.
