Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop and implement new molecular diagnostic assays on NGS platforms, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Experimentation and Validation: Plan, execute, and analyze experiments to validate new assays and products, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication of results and findings.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, including adherence to SOPs, documentation, and data integrity.
  • Lab Maintenance: Perform routine laboratory maintenance tasks, including equipment usage, purchasing, and stock control, to ensure the ongoing functioning of the laboratory environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or further degree in a life science, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or genetics.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with molecular biology-based assays and techniques, including DNA extraction, Real-Time PCR, and Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Skills: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, meticulous scientific technique, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, diligence, and a willingness to take personal responsibility to ensure project success.
