Job Title: Physiotherapist (Permanent, Contract, Part Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Band 7 Outpatient Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing patients with complex MSK pain and dysfunction, including post-operative rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patients referred to the Physiotherapy Department for initial contact, assessment, clinical diagnosis, and management.
  • Use advanced clinical reasoning skills to provide specialist support and advice to physiotherapy and other clinical staff.
  • Act as a lead in clinical audits of the Outpatient Physiotherapy Services.
  • Contribute to the development of the service in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Team Leader and Head of Therapies.
  • Mentor and develop senior staff in conjunction with the Team Leader of Physiotherapy Outpatients.
  • Promote evaluation and research within the service in conjunction with the Director of Physiotherapy research.
Requirements:
  • Post Graduate MSC in MSK.
  • 3 years band 6 in OPD MSK - all conditions.
  • 5 years within MSK.
  • NHS experience.
  • MSK Orthopaedic inpatient and on call.
  • Students supervision.
  • Patient group teaching and exercise.
  • Member of specialist interest group.
