Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Gi Group is partnering with a leading manufacturing specialist to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This role involves carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting electrical fault finding and repairs
  • CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, and Condition-Based Maintenance
  • Conducting analysis and investigations using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) on equipment failures
  • Reporting conclusions to Maintenance Supervisor and making recommendations for improved programs and practices
  • Participating in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies
  • Assisting with facility repairs and machine relocation

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem-solving processes
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
