Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our team at W Talent. As the successful candidate, you will play a critical role in leading our health and safety agenda across all areas of the business.

This is a Monday to Friday, days-based position with some hybrid working, allowing you to manage your own diary based at either the manufacturing plant in Derbyshire, at home or on site with the installation and delivery team. You will be part of the senior management team, driving the Health and Safety agenda and ensuring the highest standards are maintained.

To apply for this new role, you must hold a General NEBOSH Certificate or higher with experience in Manufacturing, Building Materials, Construction or Heavy Industry. Your strong HSE leadership skills, knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, and excellent planning and organisational skills will be essential in this position.

You will lead the company's health and safety efforts, providing advice to line managers and operations staff on potential issues. Your responsibilities will include establishing and chairing Health and Safety committee meetings, drafting and implementing statutory Health and Safety systems, policies and procedures, and creating a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors to site.

Our estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a company car and hybrid working arrangements.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in Health and Safety, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
