Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

CV-Library is seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Manager to lead our South West region's largest project to date.

This client-side role is based on site with occasional travel to our Head Office in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in governance, ensuring the care and protection of employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards
  • Leading safety inspections and emergency preparedness exercises
  • Investigating accidents and incidents to identify root causes
  • Developing and implementing effective safety communication strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records of all safety-related activities
  • Ensuring compliance with British Health & Safety legislation and COMAH

Requirements:

  • General NEBOSH Certificate
  • CSR Site Card
  • First Aid Basic Certificate
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar management role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of IOSH Safety standards and regulations
