Job Summary:

Quarriers is seeking a skilled Community Outreach Worker to join our team in Aberdeenshire. As an Epilepsy Community Outreach Worker, you will provide vital support and guidance to individuals living with epilepsy, empowering them to manage their condition and live fuller lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver information sessions and group work to promote epilepsy awareness and support
  • Provide individual and family support, including housing support and applications
  • Work closely with local communities to raise awareness and promote Quarriers' services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience in individual and family work, with a focus on community-based settings
  • Confidence in delivering group and information sessions
  • Ability to work flexibly based on service needs
  • Driving license essential for travel across Aberdeenshire
  • Desirable: previous knowledge of epilepsy, although full training and support will be provided
