The role involves delivering a comprehensive social work service to adults, focusing on collaboration with clients facing complex challenges. The position requires partnership with families, caregivers, relevant professionals, and community organizations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and organizational policies, including both mandatory and voluntary standards.
The successful candidate will be expected to commit to continuous improvement in service delivery, contributing positively to both the Service and the organization.
This is a fixed-term position with a hybrid work model, combining both office and remote work.
The role is being offered with flexibility, allowing for the potential to merge with another position to create a full-time opportunity, should there be mutual interest. This would entail collaboration across two teams, with designated office locations in Aberdeenshire. Specific workdays will be arranged to ensure coverage across both teams.
This position involves regulated work with vulnerable groups under the relevant protection legislation. The preferred candidate will need to join the appropriate safeguarding scheme or undergo a relevant update check. Additionally, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required for candidates who have spent significant time outside the UK in recent years. Employment offers will be contingent upon satisfactory completion of these pre-employment checks.
A minimum of two references is required, one of which must be from the current or most recent employer.
