Job Description

Nano Fibre UK is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Civils Engineer to join our team in the Nottingham area. As a fast-growing company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we need enthusiastic and self-driven individuals to support us in this endeavor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Civils work to support the delivery of our customer promise, including tracking and locating blockages in the UG system on the BT network.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits.
  • Reinstate and make good groundworks and accreditations, and utilize heavy machinery, jackhammers, Stihl saws, and wacker plates as needed.
  • Provide effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork, and brilliant customer service.
  • Prioritize tasks, possess good logical skills, and find the best customer solutions possible.
  • Travel to different areas of the country as required.
  • Work irregular hours and overtime to achieve our customer service targets when necessary.
  • Be medically fit and able to perform a physically demanding job in all weather conditions.
  • Work in teams or alone to meet our SLA KPIs set by our partners.
  • Be willing to work in other locations within the UK if required, with accommodation provided.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role.

  • NRSWA 01 – 08
  • LA – CAT and Genny
  • SA004 – Abrasive Wheels
  • SAOO2 – PIA Underground Safety (preferred)
  • S7 – PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation (preferred)
