About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our team at Strata Consulting. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals, identifying new opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Proven expertise in design consultancy, with experience working across a range of sectors, including residential.
  • Excellent client liaison and commercial awareness skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and WinDes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
