Job Summary
We are seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Wakefield Infant School. The successful candidate will have experience working with KS1 children and a Level 2 or higher childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification.

Responsibilities
The Year 2 Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting the teacher in planning learning activities, completing records, and helping children who need extra support to complete tasks. They will also be required to supervise group activities, manage class behaviour, and clear away materials and equipment after lessons.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a good understanding of safeguarding, and a commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning. A competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer, as well as access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
