About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Packaging Engineer to join our team at GSK. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will provide engineering expertise to support the manufacturing, automation, and controls systems for all production operations at our site.

In this role, you will receive and complete maintenance works orders, support production targets, and uphold team behaviors and culture. You will also develop risk assessments and method statements, work safely at all times, and comply with all site and departmental safety procedures and systems.

Additionally, you will identify and implement improvements to installed equipment, commission new installations, and inspect contractors' work during installation and prior to handover.

As a Packaging Engineer with Electrical Bias, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and complete maintenance works orders
  • Support production targets

  • Identify and implement improvements to installed equipment
  • Commission new installations

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility
  • Knowledge of current GMP requirements within major pharmaceutical markets
  • Knowledge and application of the principles of the Quality Management Systems (QMS)
