Job Title: Quantitative Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Quantitative Developer/Python Engineer to join our team at Capital Markets Recruitment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading hedge fund, collaborating with a talented team in a hybrid environment, and earning a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 per year.

About the Position:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. System Development: Design, develop, and maintain our real-time High-Frequency Trading platform.
  2. Strategy Integration: Collaborate with experienced traders to integrate new trading strategies into our platform.
  3. Analytics Creation: Develop analytical tools to support portfolio risk management, trading analysis, and performance evaluation.
  4. Instrument Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new financial instruments and testing existing strategies on new assets.
  5. System Health: Monitor system performance and implement tools to optimize trading activity.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Coding Expertise: 3+ years of experience in coding real-time trading systems.
  2. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python programming language; experience with Machine Learning libraries is a plus.
  3. Technical Background: C++ programming skills are beneficial.
  4. Infrastructure Development: Experience in designing and implementing production-ready infrastructure for signal generation, backtesting, and execution.
  5. Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative fields.
