About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Training and Information Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us to develop and deliver training packages that cater to a range of learning styles and experience levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key community partners and stakeholders, including local authorities, social care teams, and schools.
  • Develop and deliver training packages that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the needs of our service users.
  • Research and consult with young people, partners, and the wider service team to identify key issues and trends that inform training delivery.
  • Develop and facilitate an annual diary of training sessions, working closely with local authority partners.
  • Lead on opportunities to enhance service visibility and representation within professional networks and meetings.
  • Lead contact for professional and student placement opportunities, including school nursing and CAMHS.
  • Maintain accurate monitoring and evaluation of work undertaken to demonstrate service outcomes and targets, including the writing and development of quarterly and annual reports.
  • Deliver training to a range of partners and stakeholders in a flexible way, accommodating variance in knowledge level, learning styles, group size, and dynamics.
  • Engage in team meetings, service development days, and 1:1/group supervision in a meaningful way.
  • Contribute to the service's digital offer of interventions and develop content for use on social media.
About You
  • You will have knowledge and experience of working with young people, drug and alcohol use, and the wider issues impacting this group.
  • You will have a working knowledge of safeguarding children, with an understanding of professional accountability.
  • You will have knowledge and awareness of theoretical models relevant to engagement with young people, including psychosocial interventions, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
  • You will have experience in the development and facilitation/delivery of professional training, including continuous improvement, evaluation, and feedback.
  • You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, with digital competence and confidence.
  • You will be dynamic and flexible, with a passion for delivering high-quality training and support.
