About the Role

This KS1 Primary Teaching Assistant role is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established educational institution in the Bordon area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working part-time, starting September 2024, with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with teachers to create and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects.
  • Provide personalized or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Aid in the development of educational materials and resources.
  • Assist the teacher in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a disciplined, respectful atmosphere.
  • Help monitor and assess student progress.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
  • Experience working with SEN students is beneficial.
  • A strong passion for education and helping students grow academically and personally.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work well both collaboratively and independently.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive approach to challenges.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistance or Education are advantageous but not essential.
