Job Description

As a Payroll Advisor at The Rank Group, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and administration for our colleagues and partnering with our business managers to build strong relationships. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll execution while complying with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and timely for our Grosvenor lunar payroll using our payroll system Dayforce.
  • Ensure the correct calculation of pay items and payroll adjustments, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies or queries promptly and effectively using our service ticketing platform, Service Now.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports and backup ensuring the maintenance of accurate payroll records.
  • Partner with our business units and regional teams and build strong relationships and build and drive trust within the payroll team
Requirements
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent or working towards a relevant qualification (preferred).
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a multi-payroll hospitality or events industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension regulations.
  • Experience using payroll software, such as Dayforce.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a drive to work with the team to embrace Dayforce and always look at ways to improve the way we work.
  • Have worked in retail/hospitality/entertainment within payroll and has experience of an hourly workforce.
