Theatre Support Worker Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Theatre Support Worker to join our team at Maidstone Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing essential support to surgical teams and patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Surgical Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing operating theatres for surgery, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Patient Transfer and Care: You will assist with transferring patients from trolleys to operating tables, help with labelling and transportation of specimens, and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- Communication and Teamwork: You will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the surgical process.
Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum, plus access to a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and training opportunities.
