  • Security threat and risk assessments
  • Initial security requirements and control groups

  • Security Engineering management planning

Your skills and experiences:

  • Understand engineering lifecycle
  • Knowledge of security frameworks
  • Technical controls experience
  • MOD defence domain knowledge
  • Technical writing

The Team:

The team designs, builds, integrates and provides through life support to all the Submarine Platforms in the Royal Naval fleet. You will ensure the submarine systems and products are developed to support the delivery of an appropriately secure and resilient product.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our submarine systems and products. This will involve conducting security threat and risk assessments, developing initial security requirements and control groups, and implementing security assurance strategies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of security frameworks and technical controls experience. You will also need to have MOD defence domain knowledge and be able to write technical documentation.
