We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement and Contract Officer to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing complex procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and developing strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage flexible and fixed price-fixed term has and electricity procurement activities
  • Source water and metering contracts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account customers
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless contract management
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure best value for money solutions
  • Produce numerical and written analysis of tender bid responses
  • Ensure relevant systems and databases are up to date with high-quality information

Requirements:

  • Existing CIPs (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply qualification (or above)
  • Minimum of two A-levels (or international equivalent) or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate qualification
  • Excellent commercial awareness and ability to recognise contractual risk
  • Expert knowledge of cost elements that make up a supply contract
