Emergency Duty Team Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Emergency Duty Team (EDT) in Wrexham. As a Support Worker, you will work alongside Social Workers to provide a high-quality service to children, young people, and families in crisis.
About the Role:- Provide support to children and young people who have come into the care of the local authority in an emergency.
- Work with parents, carers, children, and young people to help them maintain positive relationships and remain together as a family unit.
- Support individuals in crisis, working to resolve situations quickly and effectively.
- A qualification in a related discipline (e.g., Social Work, Nursing) or working towards a qualification such as QCF Level 3.
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those in crisis.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A competitive hourly rate.
