IT Support Specialist

You will provide technical assistance to bank users on Core Banking and Online Banking applications, as well as support for configured interfaces, document processes, and testing within a small team.
You will collaborate closely with managed service partners to deliver first-class BAU support and service management to the business, and with the wider IT team to support their functions.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of incidents and service requests raised by internal customers, primarily for Oracle and Flexcube applications.
- Monitoring production scheduled batch jobs, following escalation procedures for any job failures.
- Planning and providing user training on key operational processes as required.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with production support for Core Banking products.
- Essential experience with Oracle Flexcube and/or OBDX.
- Able to write SQL, although expertise is not required.
- Basic Unix Shell Scripting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Java programming skills.
