Workshop Engineer

As a Workshop Engineer with Hydro International, you will be responsible for all workshop repairs and refurbishments, ensuring work is kept to the agreed quote in terms of monetary value and time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the compliance and examinations of lifting equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and ensure staff use all safe procedures and equipment as prescribed in appropriate risk assessment.
- Be prepared to work away if required/attend callouts.
- To mentor new engineers within the workshop environment and oversee when working in the workshop.
- Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
Requirements:
- Current Valid Driving License
- CSCS card
- Previous engineering/electrical qualifications (G & G/Apprenticeship) including welding.
- Forklift experience and license.
- Knowledge of water industry and inlet/water equipment (desirable).
- Computer Literate.
- Good communicator both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours if required.
