We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our dynamic team at First Recruitment Group, contributing to the delivery of innovative engineering and waste management solutions for high-profile clients.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the design and delivery of complex engineering solutions, working closely with internal teams and external clients to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and present solutions during design reviews.

To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Instrumentation & Control Systems, Electrical Design, Safety Standards, Automation, or Machinery Safety.

The estimated salary for this position is £100,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the design and delivery of complex engineering solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and present solutions during design reviews.
  • Ensure all designs meet contractual, regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support the development of less experienced engineers within the team.
  • Review supplier documentation, validate design outputs, and oversee critical acceptance testing.
