We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Fitter to join our team at GKN Aerospace, a renowned leader in the aerospace industry. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the design, manufacture, test, and repair of high-performance structures and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation of a 'Great Place to Work' by embodying our company's values and culture principles.
  • Undertake tasks in compliance with standard work and training, and make any problems known to your team lead.
  • Exemplify a safety-first mindset and follow all GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards.
  • Understand key performance indicators and contribute to team goals.
  • Support the team in problem-solving and contribute ideas based on your experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a recognized 2-4 year apprenticeship in an allied trade and achieved a minimum Level 3 qualification. You must also have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to safety and quality.
