Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MFL Teacher to join our team in a supportive and progressive secondary school based in Sherburn, Yorkshire and Humber. As an Educational Linguist, you will have the opportunity to enrich the learning and development of KS3 & KS4 students.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will create engaging lesson plans for KS3 & KS4 students, demonstrate effective teaching practices, and work collaboratively with the Head of Department to assess student progress.

  • Teaching Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative and interactive lessons for KS3 & KS4 students.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and promote a positive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department to develop and implement individual student plans.

Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

  • A qualified MFL Teacher with experience of teaching KS3 & KS4 students.
  • Effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide individual support to students as needed.

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £45,000 per annum (based on 190 days contract), depending on experience.
