Job Description

Loom Talent is seeking a Supply Chain Management Lead to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations for our warehouse and distribution center in Melton Mowbray. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of over 10 employees, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and driving operational efficiency through effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics distribution and supply chain management, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role. They will possess exceptional people management and leadership skills, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 (dependent on experience)

Main Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, ensuring seamless delivery of goods to customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing team, focusing on staff development and well-being.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining rigorous health and safety standards.
  • KPI Monitoring & Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve performance metrics, ensuring site standardization across all locations.
