Role Overview:
This position involves selling M&E services and requires a strong background in estimating. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring new business opportunities in both the manufacturing and fabricating workshop, and field service activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites to scope, measure, and qualify materials from engineering drawings/specifications.
- Produce quotations, pricing, and tender bids.
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the process.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- FOLLOW sales action plans and strategies.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Conduct proactive sales calls to generate more sales.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Manage client relationships end-to-end for an excellent customer experience.
- PROMOTE the business brand consistently.
- Ensure timely delivery of information.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Sales Engineer/Estimator who has a strong background in sales and estimation within a similar engineering or manufacturing environment. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Ability to produce quotations and conceptual designs/sketches.
- Highly literate and numerate, with commercial acumen.
- Confidence in dealing directly with decision makers and customers.
- Proficiency in CRM, CAD software, and other sales tools.
- Flexible and adaptive to changing requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Focus on quality and the ability to emphasize its importance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
What We Offer:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus a potential 5% performance-related bonus. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonuses, healthcare benefits, 28 days of annual leave, and training and development opportunities.
