Job Overview

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our Legal & Compliance Team, you will provide expert legal support and guidance to our Sales, Commercial, and Communications/Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to our Sales and Commercial teams on commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Work closely with our Senior Commercial Counsel on high-value transactions and manage external legal suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with business teams and external contacts, including Shareholders and Customer legal teams.
  • Utilize your expertise to identify and mitigate risks, providing pragmatic solutions where necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of our template document suite, ensuring it remains up-to-date and effective.
  • Collaborate with our Legal & Compliance Team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a background in commercial law.
  • 3-6 years' PQ experience in commercial transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proven approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Good commercial awareness.
