Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Work closely with the Senior Commercial Counsel on high-value transactions and manage external legal suppliers.
  • Build strong working relationships with business teams and external contacts, including Shareholders and Customer legal teams.
  • Utilize expert legal knowledge to support customer acquisition targets and delivery of passive infrastructure services.
  • Be the go-to contact for day-to-day legal queries and general support for Sales, Commercial, Marketing, and Communications teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a background in practicing commercial law.
  • Breadth of commercial contract experience.
  • 3-6 years' PQ experience in commercial transactions.
  • Experience working within a busy in-house legal team.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Good initiative with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proven approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Experience with Technology, Marketing, and IP contracts.
