About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DBT Therapist to join our newly established DBT-A team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality DBT assessments and interventions to young people and their families, working closely with our Principal DBT Therapist and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients, maintaining professional and legal accountability.
  • Support peers, work effectively independently and as part of a team, and supervise pre-registration students.
  • Ensure adherence to the DBT model within the service, coordinating with CAMHS teams for clear transitions.
  • Deliver specialist clinical psychology services to young people and their families, managing caseloads and providing supervision, consultation, and training to team members.
  • Contribute to the team's clinical work and be accountable to the CAMHS Strategic Clinical Lead for London.
