Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

An exciting new role has become available for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This is an extensively refurbished care home delivering high-quality residential care to its residents. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to lead and inspire our care team to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Support residents with personal care needs and encourage them to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Passion for caring for older people
  • Previous care experience
  • Leadership and coaching skills to motivate and inspire a team
  • Kind, warm, and caring nature with excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when needed
  • Maintaining accurate records, time management, and prioritizing tasks

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.65 and annual salary up to £31,231.20
  • Permanent full-time role with up to 44 hours per week, working day shifts
