About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Support Specialist to join our team at Educators Wales. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, managing food quantities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for students and staff.
  • Manage food quantities and order supplies accordingly.
  • Assist with stock records and perform administrative duties.
  • Supervise cleanliness and health and safety in the kitchen and canteen.

Person Specification:

  • To be able to work as part of a team (School team and kitchen team).
  • Basic food hygiene certification.
  • Nutrition and diet qualification or complete a level 2 course within 3 months of employment.
  • Experience in commercial kitchens or similar environments.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
