Job Overview

The post holder is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in a collaborative and cooperative environment. They will work with patients and their families to meet their needs.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the post holder will assist in managing and organizing their clinical area. They will also participate in educating, developing, and supervising other staff members.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nursing Team at Dolgellau Hospital, a small, friendly hospital that offers a range of services, including GP-led inpatient care, outpatient services, and a Minor Injuries Unit.

The post holder will be expected to stay up-to-date with new and emerging initiatives and interventions. Mandatory training and relevant courses will be provided, and staff are encouraged to develop extended skills such as phlebotomy.

A comprehensive induction program and ongoing support through staff meetings and personal development reviews will be offered. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop professionally and gain specialist knowledge in this area.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential. Both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.
