Job summary A vacancy has become available for a Health Care Support Worker on Cader Ward in Dolgellau aim is to provide quality, planned care for the patients.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of nurses responsible for providing, maintaining and coordinating a high standard of planned holistic care and nursing treatments, under the indirect supervision of the nurse in charge of the Ward.
Main duties of the job To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan.
Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.Supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing;Undertaking specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Good general education - Evidence of completion of QCF at Level 2 / to obtain or equivalent within 6 months whilst in post Desirable Have an understanding of role and function of Health Services.
Experience Essential Previous / current role to demonstrate working with members of the public Desirable Clear understanding of clinical governance framework Skills Essential Ability to maintain clear accurate records and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Understanding of risk management and health and safety issues.
Other Essential Team player and the ability to work flexibly when required to meet the needs of the service.
Desirable Ability to speak Welsh
