Contract Negotiator

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space Limited. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, bids, and RFPs. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance and overseeing post-contract award delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts for transactions of varying complexity.
- Provide strategic advice to the multi-functional team on the most appropriate commercial direction for each opportunity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal and external clients, and other business connections.
- Act as the contract focal point for the Customer and Programme Team for all contractual matters.
- Lead In-Life Contract Management activities for customer contracts.
- Manage and administer the entire contract lifecycle for the programmes you support.
Requirements:
- Commercial awareness with the ability to challenge the team and seek alternative solutions.
- Proven track record in negotiation of contracts of various complexity.
- Project Management, Risk Management, and Claims Management experience.
- Contractual drafting experience.
