Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our client's Scarborough Structures Team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and providing proactive leadership to deliver high-quality projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers in the design and delivery of structural projects, including concrete frame, steel frame, and existing structures.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers in other disciplines, such as geotechnical and civil/infrastructure design.
  • Supervise, mentor, and check the work of Graduates, Engineers, and Technicians.
  • Project manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality design.
  • Inform and support building design aspirations, functionality, and architectural form throughout the design process.
  • Set a strong example of client care and maintain responsibility for the financial performance of your projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of design quotes and write reports to discuss project needs and requirements with clients.

Requirements

  • Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
  • Hands-on design experience and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
