Community Outreach Worker

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Outreach Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with vulnerable individuals to provide tailored support and guidance, empowering them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners. You will be responsible for delivering structured support and risk management services, working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners, promoting trust and collaboration.
- Develop and deliver targeted outreach programs to engage customers and promote Riverside's services.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized support plans, ensuring customers receive tailored support and guidance.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach services, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring they align with Riverside's values and objectives.
Requirements:
- An understanding of the barriers faced by vulnerable and diverse customer groups and individuals with complex needs.
- Experience of delivering structured support and risk management services.
- A caring, empathetic, flexible, and resilient approach, with a can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in positively resolving incidents, demonstrating initiative and confidence to make and act on decisions.
- Competent administrative and IT skills to produce reports and communications.
