**About the Role**

Polaris Community is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Manager to support the day-to-day running of our residential services. This role requires strong leadership and staff supervision skills, as well as the ability to assess individual needs and develop care plans.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of residential childcare experience and hold a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience in managing budgets and staff rotas.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising Key/Support Workers and ensuring that supervision processes are implemented and recorded. You will also support with care standards, recruitment, training, team communication, premises management, and financial matters.

As a key member of our team, you will promote social and emotional wellbeing and development of young people, while ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements relevant to the home.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including opportunities for ongoing personal development.
