We are seeking an experienced Africa Travel Specialist to join our team in Brighton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to customers, creating dream holidays, and building professional relationships with overseas suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide expert advice on Africa travel options.
- Create personalized holiday itineraries and quotes for customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with overseas suppliers to develop our product range.
- Contribute to content on our website and other marketing campaigns.
- Minimum 2 years experience in travel sales, preferably selling East & Southern Africa holidays for a UK based tour operator.
- First-hand experience of travel to Southern and/or East Africa with strong destination knowledge.
- Proven success working in a target-based travel sales role.
- Results-driven and proactive with a motivation to learn and increase your product range.
- Commercially astute with the ability to proactively seek new opportunities.
- Genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload, with the ability to adapt and multitask.
- Driven to succeed with resilience, and a passion for travel and adventure.
- Basic salary of up to £36k plus bonus.
- Hybrid working arrangement, equivalent to circa 4 days per week in a friendly, sociable, and supportive team.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
