Job Description

At MM Flowers, we are a leading supplier of fresh cut flowers and bouquets to top retailers in the UK and Europe. We are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers, and we are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a NPD Florist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company requirements regarding safety, quality, and legality of products.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Construct hand-tied bouquets in line with customer expectations for approval.
  • Work with the NPD Designers to create a range of ad hoc bouquets, center-pieces, wreaths, and other floral displays tailored to customer specifications and occasions.
  • Perform quality checks on samples received and rework if needed to ensure bouquet quality.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of bouquet quality and freshness, ensuring only high-quality materials leave the studio.
  • Present samples to the Studio Manager for inspection before dispatch.
  • Wrap bouquets in customer-specific packaging, adding flower food and care guides where applicable.
  • Promote and uphold the 'clean as you go' policy, taking responsibility for the Studio and storage areas.
  • Support the Studio Manager and NPD Designers with ad hoc tasks, last-minute stem requests or concessions.
Requirements:
  • Core understanding of flowers and floristry.
  • Creative flare with disciplined work approach.
