About the Role:

Chubb Fire & Security Limited is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing fire protection systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop sprinkler system designs for large and small works, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
  • Produce technical documentation, installation drawings, and coordination models.
  • Conduct on-site surveys and ensure compliance with relevant design standards.
  • Specify equipment and prepare certification and O&M documentation.
  • Review meetings with clients and coordination meetings with external subcontractors.
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of LPCB Basic design qualification.
  • LPCB Intermediate and FHC design qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential. Knowledge of FM & NFPA standards would be an advantage.
  • A degree or HND in a relatable discipline would be an advantage.
  • Relevant technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
  • Minimum five years experience in the design of fire sprinkler systems. Experience of water mist, hydrants & dry/wet riser systems would be an advantage.
