About the Role

As a Senior Insight Director at Group M Worldwide Inc., you will play a pivotal role in delivering effective communications planning solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with our strategy, client leadership, and growth teams to deploy and utilize various research methodologies, creating insight-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Insight Project Management:

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality client-facing insight projects, including:

• Interrogating client briefs to understand requirements and leveraging research and insight products to deliver high-quality responses.

• Managing concurrent multiple projects to tight deadlines, using effective communication skills to manage client and internal stakeholder expectations.

• Delegating project tasks to junior team members to ensure effective delivery to scope.

Insight Delivery:

As an experienced research practitioner, you will be skilled at analyzing multiple data sets to create well-rounded insights, producing actionable planning recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing various research approaches (quant, qual, social, and search analytics) to provide effective responses to briefs.

• Expertly using a range of planning toolkits, third-party research platforms (GWI, Similarweb, Netbase Quid, etc.), and WPP research and data products.

• Leveraging advanced Excel skills to analyze diverse data sets, uncovering insights and recommendations.

Relationship Building:

• Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, media owner partners, and research and data product stakeholders in GroupM and WPP.

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our research and insight capabilities remain cutting-edge.

• Managing client relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen and further our scope.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in data analysis and visualization, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.

• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

• Experience working with large and diverse datasets.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior clients and stakeholders.

• Passion for data-driven problem-solving and commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a media/advertising data role.

• Knowledge of media planning and buying processes.

• Experience with media data tools such as GWI, Similarweb, Netbase Quid.
