Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, helping them develop emotional regulation and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to implement effective support strategies and promote student engagement.
- Monitor and report on student progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Contribute to creating a positive, nurturing, and secure environment for all students.
- Prior experience working with children or young people, especially those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Empathy and a patient approach to student support, with the ability to remain calm and proactive in challenging situations.
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
