Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer

Location: Portsmouth and Surrounding Areas

Salary/Rate: £34,000 - £38,000/annum Additional Earnings available

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team at Smart Search Technical Ltd in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, install, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on fire and security systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their fire and security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with install, service, and repair of fire and security systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and similar equipment.
  • Must hold relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible in working on the out of hours rota.

What's on Offer:

  • Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Overtime: Time and a half/double time rates
  • Holidays: 25 days
  • Vehicle: Company car or van plus fuel card
