Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineering Technical Manager to join our team working on a range of critical infrastructure projects supporting the ship and submarine sustainment programmes. As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of heavy civil infrastructure designs, focusing primarily on dry dock systems.

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Manage the delivery of heavy civil infrastructure designs, focusing primarily on dry dock systems, ensuring they meet technical and operational requirements for sustainment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Safety Case Management: Manage safety cases and ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.

Document Management: Manage technical documentation (IAF, IRL, TQ, CE, EWN, FMs) and ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.

External Works Design Support: Assist in the detailed design phase for various external works elements, including facility boundaries, roadways, pavements, waste management, and submarine dock access.

Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with design teams, the main contractor, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth interface management and delivery of technical requirements.

The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
