Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Psychology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Psychology to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our Psychology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences to students, using a range of teaching and learning tools to create engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Contribute to the development of our Psychology department, including curriculum design and delivery, and assessment and evaluation.
  • Support the promotion of our courses and the recruitment and enrolment of students.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment, supporting students in understanding how to keep themselves and others safe, and notifying management of any risks.
Requirements:
  • Teacher or lecturer with demonstrable experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning, or relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students to achieve their full potential, and a passion for teaching and learning.
  • A*-C in maths and English.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience of teaching A-Level Psychology or Access to Higher Education.
