About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Systems Designer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for machinery used in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Work closely with engineers and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implement, maintain, and design PLC, HMI software, and SCADA systems that meet specifications and codes.
  • Ensure construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing meet specifications and codes.
  • Supervise project team members and train them as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of TIA Portal and Ladder Logic.
  • Proficiency in Siemens S7 and scripting languages (VB/C, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £55k-£65k per annum.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Monday-Friday with a 1pm Friday finish.
